This morning, I heard an interesting spot on NPR’s Weekend Edition. Music producer, composer and performer, Craig Hartley shared some of his ideas around what he called his "improvised mashups."
The first example started with Bach’s Prelude in C Minor, as Craig said, “straight up.” He then improvised the Miles Davis tune, Solor, over the Bach. The result was stunning and another great example of the timelessness of Bach (and Miles)!
